Our Beliefs

God

All-loving Creator of the heavens and the earth, eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10,11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22

Jesus

Jesus is fully human and fully Divine. He was crucified by man, without guilt and sinless, and through His resurrection, freed all people from the power of sin and death. He will return again, ushering in the eternal Kingdom of God.

Matthew 1:23; 1 John 4:2,10,14; Revelation 1:13,17

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is eternal, continually drawing men and women to God. Being marked by the Holy Spirit as children of God, believers are encouraged, transformed to be like Christ, convicted of sin, empowered and anointed to serve others, and given spiritual gifts to edify the Church through the baptism if the Holy Spirit.

John 7:37-39; Acts 2:43; Acts 2:42; Mark 16:20

The Bible

The Bible is the expressed Word of God and is our final authority in all matters of life, faith, and practice.

2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21

Salvation

A free gift from God, salvation is God’s desire for all humanity to be in right relationship with Him. In turning from a self-centered life and turning to God, accepting the work Christ accomplished, one receives new and eternal life.

Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8; Titus 2:11; 3:5-7

The Church

The Church is the community of God, learning to love and express love to this world. Everyone who turns back to God, accepts the work of Christ and the Holy Spirit becomes a vital part of the Church in the world today. Becoming a part of the Church, every follower of Jesus is called to a life of love and service.

Ephesians 4:11-16; Galatians 6:10; Acts 1:8
